Oakington Garden Centre

Growing a stronger brand for a premium Cambridge garden centre

Originating as a plant nursery, Oakington Garden Centre has been owned and run by the Sadler family since 1981. With plants at the heart, Oakington hope to provide inspiration and expertise to customers whether they are experienced gardeners or bedding beginners.

Oakington approached us as they were keen to use a design agency that could manage all aspects of branding, design, print, web and advertising. To highlight their heritage, we incorporated a new slogan into the branding: “Family run since 1981”. This, along with a sleek and timeless design, makes for a refined identity. To accompany the rebrand, we’ve also introduced clear and concise way-finding signage around the garden centre, to inspire visitors on plant-buying decisions. Additionally, we have designed and built a new website, utilising fresh photography that captures Oakington’s offering.
