As the UK’s largest rail operator, First Rail encompasses well-known brands such as Avanti West Coast, Great Western Railway (GWR), South Western Railway, Hull Trains and Lumo, ensuring nationwide coverage and connectivity.

In line with its commitment to employee welfare, FirstGroup launched the BeSafe campaign, spanning all eight rail operators within the Group. A robust and cohesive identity was developed around the campaign’s 6 Golden Rules, reinforcing a unified approach to safety. This initiative was brought to life through a range of engaging materials, including posters, animations for team briefings, point of sale displays and dedicated newsletters for each train operator, ensuring that safety remains at the forefront of daily operations.
